Tony Coote AM, MBA
Owner & Founder
Tony began purchasing the lands that make up Mulloon Creek Natural Farms in 1968, with his sister. He founded The Mulloon Institute with his wife Toni in 2015 to help demonstrate and share innovative approaches to regenerative land management in Australia. Tony served for many years as Executive Chairman of Angus & Coote (Holdings) Ltd and was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1988, for services to industry and the community. Tony passed away in August 2018.
Michael’s background is in managed grazing systems that incorporate cropping and livestock, as well as 10 years spent working as a shearer and woolclasser. He is interested in how the land can be improved using regenerative agricultural techniques instead of relying on chemical and artificial inputs. He is also passionate about engaging people and showing them how they can be involved in and benefit from agriculture.
